What we do
Solomon Group works two problems for American enterprises. We run marketing that is measured in revenue, and we get operations ready for AI and install it with the people who have to use it. Different work, one standard: everything we claim is a number you can check.
Marketing, measured in revenue
We take on the strategy and the day-to-day execution of your marketing, connect it to your CRM and sales data, and report in the terms that actually matter: revenue, not vanity metrics. You see what each channel earns, so budget goes to what performs.

For mid-market manufacturers and regulated operators, we get operations ready for AI, install it with the people who have to use it, and prove the adoption held at day 90. The problem is rarely the tool. It is that work gets stuck between functions and nobody owns the gap.
Book the Readiness DiagnosticMarketing, measured in revenue
Most marketing budgets get spent on activity nobody can tie to revenue. We fix that by owning the strategy and execution and reporting against the number your CFO cares about.
Your data is siloed
Channel analytics, your CRM, and your sales records rarely talk to each other, so no one can say which marketing actually produced customers. We put them in one place.
Reports arrive too late
By the time results reach a monthly deck, the decisions they were meant to inform are already made. We report on a cadence you can act on.
Activity gets mistaken for results
Impressions and engagement rise and fall on their own. We measure the difference between motion and money.
We run marketing strategy and execution end to end. You shape the direction, and every result ties back to revenue you can see.
Operations & AI Transformation
Chris Wessling gets mid-market operations ready for AI, installs it with the people who have to use it, and proves the adoption held at day 90.
This is for VPs and Directors of Operations and Quality at manufacturers, aerospace and defense suppliers, and other regulated operators. Companies with real departments, real handoffs, and no internal transformation function. The constraint is almost never the software. It is handoffs that lose information every time, knowledge that lives in one person’s head and leaves when they do, systems nobody trusts so people keep a shadow spreadsheet, and savings nobody can prove. It is not for startups, solo founders, or shops under about a hundred people, whose problem is tool selection, not adoption.
Adoption is the product, not the tool
The engagement is instrumented at day 30, 60, and 90 against metrics agreed before it starts. Most AI consulting cannot say what proof of success looks like. This can.
Nothing hosted, nothing renews
Every artifact is a plain file you own outright, running on your own AI account under your own IT policy. No platform, no login, no subscription. If we never speak again, everything keeps working.
Fixed fee, fenced scope
Not hourly, not open-ended. The fixed fee is us carrying the estimation risk instead of you, and a clearly drawn boundary is a feature, not a hedge.
The Readiness Diagnostic
A fixed-fee assessment of one operation, scored against your own documents and your own people, not a generic checklist. In week one we request documents and run a structured interview with the people who do the work. In week two we assess against your own material, and every finding is cited to something you gave us or something someone said.
You get a scorecard, findings cited to evidence, effort bands, and a sequenced roadmap you can act on whether or not we work together again, plus a sixty-minute readout with the arithmetic shown.
The 90-Day Installation
Ninety days, one department. We pick one department and one set of real problems from the Diagnostic. Your people build the working system while Chris facilitates, then we harden it: named owners, version control, where the files live, and how a new hire learns to run it.
Adoption is measured at day 30, 60, and 90 against thresholds set in week one. At day 90 there is a written graduation criterion and a verdict, and the verdict is allowed to be no. A claim you can check is the only honest way to sell adoption.
The path in is the Readiness Diagnostic.
Fractional AI & Process Officer
For teams whose scope has grown past what they want to carry internally, there is a capped monthly engagement after graduation: governance, roadmap, a quarterly audit rhythm, and a monthly working session. It is offered at the end of an Installation, to clients who finished one, not as a starting point.
A small, specific number with its mechanism attached
A medical device manufacturer had a certification-tracking breakdown on an FDA-required process. Everyone treated it as a training problem. It was not. Field engineers could not get the certification and equipment information they needed to do their work, and each request took about nine hours to fill. Chris found the actual failure and rebuilt the information path. Nine hours became thirty minutes. At the far end of that delay were hospitals losing surgeries while people waited on paperwork.
Elsewhere, in the same sector: training design time cut by roughly 80 percent, worth about $200,000 a year, and more than twenty years spent inside certified manufacturing and technical service organizations.
Chris is a CAPE Examiner for California’s Baldrige-based performance excellence program, active since 2023, and an AHCA Gold-Level Examiner. An examiner spends their professional life reading an organization’s own evidence and deciding whether the claim it makes about itself survives scrutiny. That is exactly the discipline the Diagnostic applies, and it is why “diagnose before prescribing” is not a slogan.
